My first blog!


Hello! I'm Benjamin Torres. I was born on April 26, 2000 Santiago, Chile. This means that I'm a chilean's eighteen years old. I have lived with my parents and my two brothers since ever, I´m the oldest my brothers.
I started my student´s age in 2006, I was six years old and I was attending my first years of school in San Pedro School, one year later, my parents change me to Palmares School, where I met to two of my best friends. In 2013 my parents decided change me school again, now to Salesianos Alameda School, I was there until my graduate in 2017. So in 2018 started a new phase in my life, the university life. I entered to study architecture, so I had to stop doing things I like, as practice football each weekend, go to parties with friends, and so much other things.
Today I´m in second year of architecture with a little bit more time for my hobbies.

Post 6: Postgraduate Studies

Right now I am studying architecture, this is my second year and the carreer I liked it, but really I have not think very much about if I want go on studying, I don´t know yet, I'm not sure, I think I will make that decision in the future. One time I finish my studies or when I finish my career, maybe I would like start to work inmediatly, however if I changed my mind I would like to specialize on public space. One of reason to do this course is I am very interested about this topic, and in my opinion there is lack of quality public spaces in real Chile, so I would like to be a contribution to the chilean society. I want go on studying in Chile specifically in the Universidad de Chile, because this is one of the best universities in Latin America and I feel comfortable here. And regard to how I would like to study, I prefer be studying on a part time course, beacuse it is most easy if I want study and work to sametime. Also, if I work and study to sametime I could pay the course ...

Post 5: My Future Job

Well, there are many things that I want do in the future, one is I become an architect. I can't see clearly my future yet, but I don't want locked inside an office working something routine, I'm sure about that, so I want finish my university's major for working in something with relation to architecture. I would like works in colaboration with the Chile State for public projects like parks, markets, public spaces, maybe urbanistic things, and improve the quality live of people througth the architecture. Too, I would like design and build social blocks of high quality, by the way of great economic diferences present on my country.  On the other hand, in the international area,  I would like design football stadiums, because I'm a fan and I enjoy so much watching and playing football, that is very interesting for me. For that one of my many goals is contribute in the building stadiums for the great FIFA World Cup.  I hope manage all this things in the future and ...
